Brian took his first web design class in 1999. It was a basic HTML program which he followed with two classes in Graphics for the Web and one for designing commercial websites using ASP.
Over the past seven years he has created several websites for small businesses and organizations. Eighteen months ago he started PAMLICO Web Design primarily to serve local small businesses and non-profits with informational or brochure type websites at a reasonable price. His most recent two projects were a redesign for Blackbeard Sailing Club using an open source content management system software called Joomla! and a redesign of the Pamlico Historical Association's website.
The links on the right show various assignments completed for this course. While not complete websites themselves they show some of the design and layout possibilites that Brian can offer for your website. Feel free to explore!
This online class uses the 4th edition of HTML, XHTML, and Dynamic HTML by Patrick Carey as its text. Brian sees WEB210 as a way to update his knowledge and stay current with developments in website design.
